What I Help With

I help adults move past insight into real change, building emotional awareness, a steadier sense of self, and healthier relationships.

I work with adults and couples navigating:

  • Anxiety, depression, and stress

  • Childhood emotional neglect (CEN)

  • Trauma and past experiences

  • Relationship challenges

My goal is to help you feel better and more like yourself: more self aware, more connected, and more resilient so you can handle whatever life throws at you.

My Approach to Therapy

I specialize in depth-oriented, trauma-informed, psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy, including AF-EMDR, helping you develop daily-life tools, understand patterns, process experiences, and change how you relate to yourself and others.

My work is relational and attuned with a clear framework for healing and growth. I offer practical tools  to ease your symptoms first, then we explore the root causes to create lasting change.

I start with meeting you where you are and helping you move forward at a pace that feels right for you.

What Makes My Approach Different

1.png

Direct & Practical

I name what I see and hand you tools you can put to use between sessions.

2.png

Depth & Action

We work the patterns underlying the problem, not just the surface symptoms.

Committed Pacing

We meet weekly to build steady progress and lasting change.

My work isn’t one-size-fits-all.  With over 25 years of experience, I tailor each session to where you are and what you need, with a clear framework of your goals as a guide.

What I Believe

I believe therapy should feel:

Supportive and caring

Practical and helpful

Personalized and collaborative

Lasting change takes hold when you feel emotionally safe, supported, and understood.

Why I Became a Psychologist

I changed careers to become a clinical psychologist because I wanted to build a place where people could feel safe enough to be their true, vulnerable, authentic selves.

Many clients have told me that therapy felt too clinical or vague, so I built something both warm and authentic, anchored in clinical expertise and practical tools.

I work primarily with high functioning adults who want something deeper because I understand how hard it is to put aside your success and access yourself in ways that feel deeply personal and vulnerable.

When I’m not in session, you’ll find me with family and friends, cooking, reading, walking, riding my bike and spending time with my pets.
