Do You Find Yourself…
Fighting about the same things over and over again without resolution
Feeling more like roommates than partners
Wanting more closeness while your partner wants more space
Feeling like trust has been broken and you’re not sure how to rebuild it
Loving each other but can’t seem to communicate without it blowing up
Feeling like your relationship has changed over time and has become less satisfying
You don’t have to figure this out on your own.

What is Couples Therapy?
Couples therapy is designed specifically for partners. In particular, IRT (Imago Relationship Therapy) is a structured approach that focuses on helping you navigate the patterns in your relationship, improve communication and rebuild connections so you can move forward together with more clarity, trust, and closeness.
Common Challenges I Help With
Communication breakdowns and recurring arguments
Loss of emotional or physical intimacy
Infidelity, betrayal, or trust issues
Major life transitions such as parenthood, career changes, or blending families
Extended family conflicts that affect your relationship
Conflict styles that don’t mesh, where one withdraws, and the other pursues
These challenges are common and can be addressed in therapy.
How Couples Therapy Can Help
✓ Improve communication and reduce conflict
✓ Rebuild trust after betrayal or rupture
✓ Feel more connected and understood by your partner
✓ Build healthier patterns that hold up under stress
✓ Gain clarity about what you both need and how to move forward
✓ Identify root causes of your unhealthy patterns and develop tools to help navigate when they arise
My goal is to help you communicate more effectively, feel closer and create meaningful, lasting change together.

My Approach to Couples Therapy
I use the evidence-based method, Imago Relationship Therapy (IRT) to help you identify and understand the patterns in your relationship (and their origins), improve communication, navigate conflict more effectively and build emotional intimacy.
Sessions are structured and follow a format that is specifically designed to increase emotional safety, thereby creating opportunity for couples to show their authentic, vulnerable selves. This helps create a foundation of emotional intimacy, a necessary element for a healthy partnership.
